The Kroc Institute's core faculty consists of about two dozen scholar-teachers with expertise in history, political science, anthropology, law, sociology, theology, and peace studies.
Faculty conduct research; teach and mentor undergraduate, master's, and Ph.D. students; and contribute to peacebuilding practice, including consultation with government, civil society and religious groups, training of peacebuilders, and a wide range of public writing, speaking, and media outreach.
Adding to Kroc's academic strength are more than 50 faculty fellows (faculty in many University departments whose research and teaching relate to conflict, peace, and justice) as well as the Kroc visiting research fellows, who spend a semester or a year conducting peace research at the Kroc Institute.
Kroc Institute staff members play key roles in administering programs that advance the mission of the Institute.
